San Pedro is close to Puerto Banús sitting at the base of the Sierra de Ronda mountain range.
The main street through the centre of San Pedro is pedestrianised and covers the motorway tunnel, making it a safe and pleasant environment with no main road passing through it. A pleasant walk is from the centre of San Pedro town to the beachfront along the Avenida del Marques del Duero which is a particularly attractive wide avenue flanked by palm trees. And the modern wide promenade is ideal for continuing your stroll (or skateboarding!) with several excellent chiringuitos (beachside restaurants) specialising in fish dishes
San Pedro is a great mix of traditional architecture and culture and modern sports facilities with padel courts and gyms.
The hill top town of Benahavis offers a refreshing break from the bustling coast and is a renowned "Gastronomical Corner" of Andalucia. Situated just 7km from the coast on the southern face of the Ronda mountain range, it offers easy access to all the unspoilt, natural beaches of this area and spectacular views over the many golf courses and down to the Mediterranean sea. The town is set within beautiful natural countryside and is a popular place for locals and tourists to take a day out and relax and enjoy the many restaurants and quaint streets.
