This modern 2 bedroom apartment is situated in the picturesque complex of Casares del Sol, a luxury residential complex offering 6 communal pools set within communal gardens planted with tropical plants and green areas. The complex is secure and gated and offers underground parking. It is close to some quality golf courses and is only a 20 minute walk to the beach. The apartment offers free WiFi.
This ground floor apartment is furnished to a high standard and consists of a lounge/diner, opening out onto a south west facing terrace equipped with a charcoal BBQ for al-fresco dining. The views from the terrace are over the urbanisation. The lounge is fitted with quality sofas , a TV and DVD. The modern kitchen is fully-equipped and has a separate utility room.
The master bedroom is furnished with a double bed, fitted wardrobes and benefits from a full en suite bathroom. The second bedroom also has fitted wardrobes and is furnished with two single beds. There is also a guest shower room.
The management company is based in La Cala de Mijas and will be on hand if required.
Coastal Casares is only a few minute's drive to Puerto de la Duquesa and Sabinillas to the west. Along this 2km stretch of un-crowded beaches and promenades, you can visit the Duquesa marina with it’s bars, restaurants and cafes. The beaches at Casares are of a very high standard, kept clean and with all necessary facilities. Some have been awarded blue-flag status for excellence. The town of Sabinillas is just a few kilometres away, offering all the amenities to make for an easy holiday including restaurants, bars, banks and supermarkets. You are spoilt for choice with beach restaurants and traditional Spanish ventas all within a short distance.
Quality golfing is in abundance including the famous Sotogrande, San Roque and Valderrama (home to the 1997 Ryder Cup) courses. This unspoilt area of the Costa del Sol is just waiting to be discovered.
The village of Casares is one of the enchanting “Pueblo Blanco” villages found around Spain. The picturesque, white washed houses in the village sprawl over and crawl up the hillside to the base of the 12th Century Medieval Castle, which sits on top of the hill like a guardian.
The breath-taking, unspoilt beauty of this municipality stretches inland to incorporate the Serriano de Ronda and the Campo of Gibraltar. The village of Casares is only a few kilometres inland from the coast and maintains the charm of winding, narrow streets leading to the central square filled with small bars and restaurants. A visit to the old fortress is not to be missed, where you can gaze down to the stunning views of the coast and across to Africa and Gibraltar.
